All instructions for preparing the abstract are given below and serve also as an abstract
prototype. Please follow these instructions carefully, save the abstract in the Word as
LastName.doc and send it in the electronic form until the extended date March 19, 2010 to the address
abstract@hypoxia.sk.

The maximal size of the abstract is 16.0 x 10.5 cm (6.3 x 4.1 inch), which is maximally 1900 keystrokes. The whole abstract must be written in Times New Roman, size 11 and in single spacing. The title should be written in capital letters, in bold and should not be longer than two lines. After the title, please leave one line space. Presenting author should be underlined and start with the last name and then with initials of the first name. After each initial please put the dot. Authors should be separated by a comma. Immediately after the author’s names please write the affiliation by italics (Institute, City and Country). Use the standard abbreviations, if necessary. Leave one line space between the heading and abstract. The entire abstract should be written in one paragraph, with the 3-space intent at the first line of the abstract. Make the abstract as informative as possible. State the specific objective of the study, methods employed, summarize the results obtained and conclusions. If the abstract will exceed the given size, it will be truncated. Please submit the abstract together with the registration form until the March 19, 2010.
Fundation should be acknowledged in the separate lane, which should be in italics.
